Multi BRIT and MOBO Award winning boy band JLS today announce details of their return to music as they are set to embark on a mammoth comeback tour. Following a seven year hiatus Aston, Marvin, Oritsé and JB will take the ‘Beat Again’ tour to stages across the UK and Ireland reuniting with their legions of loyal fans for a fifteen date string of arena shows.
Famed for their impressive live draw having played London’s iconic O2 Arena a staggering sixteen times and selling over 1.4 million tickets in the UK alone, the tour kicks off at Dublin’s 3Arena on November 12th before heading to Belfast’s SSE Arena on November 13th.
Speaking of their highly anticipated return JLS said “We are so excited to be working together as a group again. We’ve always been like family, and now we feel that this is the right time for us to get back on stage and perform in front of our loyal fans. Even though it’s been 7 years, you can be sure that it’s going to be as high energy as ever”.
Since the band’s inception in 2007, JLS reimagined the modern boyband and made their mark on British music through their inimitable soulful, RnB, pop sound underpinned by highly stylised choreography. Collectively JLS have amassed five Number One singles with their instantly recognisable chart hits ‘Beat Again’, ‘Everybody In Love’, ‘The Club Is Alive’, ‘Love You More’ and ‘She Makes Me Wanna’.
Having carved out their own niche as a mid-late noughties mainstay, the band return to the spotlight following a record breaking career. They sold over six million records and four multi-platinum albums and their self titled debut went straight to Number One and has since sold over a million copies in the UK.
The band are two time BRIT winners, having won Best British Breakthrough and Best British Single with ‘Beat Again’, which was also named the fastest selling debut single of 2009. As well as their huge commercial success and consistently dominating the pop charts, the band made a massive impact on urban music culture with five MOBO Awards and three Urban Music Award wins highlighting the astronomic affect their music had in resonating in both pop and RnB music realms.
The tour is an opportunity for JLS fans across the country to come together to enjoy the hits which continuously soundtracked the charts for seven years running.

Following her recent triumphant sold out Irish tour, Sinéad O’Connor today announced that she will play 3 major gigs in Cork, Belfast and Dublin this summer, each with a different special guest – Damien Dempsey (Marquee Cork), Soak (Botanic Gardens Belfast) and Soda Blonde (Iveagh Gardens Dublin)
2019 has marked the return of Sinéad O’Connor and a new beginning that will see Sinéad bring out new music and tour the world once again as one of the true and original living greats of our time.
As Jack Kerouac states “Genius gives birth, talent delivers”. So where did Sinéad O’Connor begin?
1970s Ireland was the backdrop from which Sinéad O’Connor began her life. Born into tragic times with her own tragic story, one among many from those days, Sinéad would not be defined by what was at that time beyond her control. Her spirit would blossom and bloom manifesting her gift, her voice.
Discovered by the drummer of well-known Irish band In Tua Nua, she co-wrote their first hit. Shortly after being discovered by Ensign records her first album ‘The Lion and the Cobra’ released in late 1987 reached Platinum sales. Sinéad had arrived.
From the early new wave explosion of ‘Mandinka’ to the multi–platinum soul of Prince’s ‘Nothing Compares to You’ Sinéad had left an indelible mark with her unique image and vocal style.
Chart topping singles, hit albums, numerous awards an array of collaborations later and Sinéad’s spiritual journey would lead her through a turbulent, troubled and restless existence to find solace in Islam.
An artist beyond comparison - unique, uncompromising, a pioneer, a visionary are just some of the descriptions that might only touch the surface of Sinéad O’Connor. Embodying a voice with beauty and innocence, a spirit part punk, part mystic with a combined fearlessness and gentle authenticity. This voice as Sinéad’s unique expression would be echoed in the voices of other artists who she would inspire who came after.
Now Sinéad O’Connor is back performing live on stage where she belongs.

The lead track from the album “Don’t Start Now” is already a massive hit worldwide with over 170 million streams to date. Already an iTunes Global #1, the track is also Top 10 European Radio and climbing and Top 20 US Radio and climbing. Her show stopping Award performances of ‘Don’t Start Now’ at The EMA’s, The AMA’s and The ARIA’s have also dazzled and delighted millions of viewers and fans everywhere.
Speaking about ‘Future Nostalgia’ Dua explains “What I wanted to do with this album was to break out of my comfort zone and challenge myself to make music that felt like it could sit alongside some of my favourite classic pop songs, whilst still feeling fresh and uniquely mine. I was inspired by so many artists on the new record from Gwen Stefani to Madonna to Moloko to Blondie and Outkast, to name just a few.
Dua continues “Because of the time that I’d spent on the road touring with my band I wanted ‘Future Nostalgia’ to have a lot more of a live element, but mixed together with modern electronic production. My sound has naturally matured a bit as I’ve grown up but I wanted to keep the same pop sensibility as I had on the first record. I remember that I was on my way to a radio show in Las Vegas thinking about the direction for this new record and I realised that what I wanted to make was something that felt nostalgic but had something fresh and futuristic about it too.”
Tickets for the tour go on sale Friday 6th December at 9.00am local time, excluding Spain who will be on sale Thursday 5th December at 9.00am local time. Fans should purchase tickets from official outlets only and information will be found on the DUA LIPA website. VIP packages including ‘Dua’s House Party’ will be available.
Measures are being taken to prevent touting of tickets for DUA fans with named tickets in the UK, fan to fan resale options and ticket purchase limits. A Charity donation will be added to all tickets and proceeds will go to Unicef and Sunny Hill Foundation.

Today, multi-platinum, award-winning singer-songwriter Halsey announces the European leg of her 2020 Manic World Tour ahead of the release of her much anticipated third album ‘Manic’ set for worldwide release 17 January 2020 on Capitol Records, which will feature the global smash, “Without Me” and new, hit-bound “Graveyard.” The run will see Halsey perform in 20 cities across Europe kicking off in Madrid on 6 February and concluding at 3 ARENA DUBLIN on 10 March. Support across all dates will come from the UK’s Pale Waves. Tickets go on general sale on Friday 27 September at 9am
Since 2015, Halsey has amassed over 23 billion streams worldwide and sold more than
nine million adjusted albums globally. She has played sold out dates on five continents
(including New York City’s Madison Square Garden), been nominated for a GRAMMY and
appeared on a wide variety of magazine covers in addition to Cosmopolitan – including Rolling
Stone, NYLON, Forbes, Playboy and Billboard. Her 2015 debut album, BADLANDS, was
certified Platinum by the RIAA within one year of its release. Halsey claimed the No. 1 spot on
the Billboard 200 with 2017’s Platinum-certified hopeless fountain kingdom, which contained
such hits as the 2x Platinum “Now or Never” and the 4x Platinum “Bad at Love.”
Her 5x Platinum hit “Without Me” – included on Manic – spent two weeks at No. 1 on
the Hot 100 in early 2019, marking her first solo single to reach the top spot. It now ranks as the
longest-running Billboard Hot 100 top 10 hit by a female artist of this century. She is the first
artist since 2014 to simultaneously hold the No. 1 and No. 2 spots on Billboard’s Hot 100 Pop
Song radio airplay chart. In March 2019, Halsey became the first artist in history to replace
herself at No. 1 twice on the U.S. Pop Songs Airplay chart when “Without Me” returned to No.
1, bumping “Eastside,” her 2x Platinum collaboration with Benny Blanco and Khalid, from the
top spot. “Without Me” is the most-played song of 2019 at U.S. radio. She featured on BTS’
Platinum hit, “Boy With Luv” and, most recently, alongside Future on “Die for Me,” a track
from Post Malone’s new album.
Halsey continues to push creative boundaries, expanding her influence and impact
beyond music. After making her film debut in the animated 2018 summer movie Teen Titans
GO! as the voice of Wonder Woman, she was seen in A Star is Born, starring Bradley Cooper
and Lady Gaga. She continues to use her voice to speak up for causes she passionately believes
in, including disenfranchised youth, women’s rights, mental health and the LGBTQ community.
GLAAD honored her in 2018 as “Outstanding Music Artist.”
