Tayto Park Features a Weekend of Retro Drive-in Movies

The festive season is well and truly upon us and with the landscape of Christmas looking slightly different this time around, families are looking to make new traditions and find the fun this December.

We are in luck as Christmas is in the air at Tayto Park, as Ireland’s only theme park and zoo team up with Retro Drive-In Movies to reveal a two-day Christmas movie drive-in weekend on Saturday, 19th & Sunday, 20th of December.

Arrive in the car, stay in the car and leave in the car, the Christmas movie drive-in at Tayto Park is safe, socially distanced and the perfect day out to get all the family in the festive spirit! Experience the magic of retro and catch Christmas classics such as Home Alone 1 & 2, The Polar Express, The Santa Claus and more on the big screen and more all from the comfort of your very own car! 

With refreshments available to purchase on site, choose from a variety of film times across the weekend of the 19th of December. Priced at €30.90 for a five-seater car and €32.00 for a seven-seater (booking fee not included), the two-day Christmas movie drive-in weekend, schedule includes some of the best-loved family Christmas films.

Under level three restrictions, Tayto Park will re-open this Friday, 4th of December with a limited number of attractions open. Enjoy all the attractions of the Eagles Nest including the Nissan Driving School at Tayto Park, The Ladybird Loop, Flight School Coaster and more! Put your zoo skills to the test and discover tigers, leopards and much more at the Tayto Park Zoo all before enjoying some lunch at the Tayto Park Lodge, concession stores and the Tayto Park gift store will also be open.
