Fatboy Slim Announces "Loves Summer" Ireland/UK Tour

Get ready to groove this summer as Fatboy Slim unveils his highly anticipated ‘Loves Summer’ tour, set to electrify stages across the UK and Ireland throughout June, July, and August 2024. The tour kicks off in the city of Dublin, at Fairview Park and spans eight thrilling dates, including stops in Cornwall, Manchester, Scarborough, Bedfordshire, Glasgow, Galway, and a grand finale in Halifax. Don't miss your chance to catch this iconic DJ live in action! Tickets go on sale this Friday!

Norman said:

“Here we go again everyone… This tour covers some stunning locations, many of which I’ve never played before and I’m really excited about it. Roll on the summer :)”.

The tour will call at some of the most unique venues in the UK and Ireland, including the Eden Sessions in Cornwall, Castlefield Bowl in Manchester, Tofte Manor in Bedfordshire, The Piece Hall in Halifax, The Open Air theatre in Scarborough and more.

The announcement arrives on the heels of the 25th anniversary reissue of You’ve Come A Long Way, Baby. First released in 1998, the album You've Come a Long Way, Baby became one of THE defining records of the ‘90s, irrespective of genre. Swinging from hip-hop, to reggae and jangle pop, with this record Norman Cook broke stylistic ground and delivered a wildly original album, filled with imagination, huge hooks and infectious beats.

The album that spawned era-defining singles ‘Rockafeller Skank’, ‘Gangster Trippin’, ‘Praise You’ and ‘Right Here Right Now’ was bigger than just a dance album, You've Come a Long Way, Baby was a genuine phenomenon, enjoying huge critical and commercial success; reaching Number One in the UK album charts, it contains 4 UK Top 10 singles, and earned Norman Cook a BRIT Award for best producer and two further nominations (Male Solo Artist and British Single) along the way.

The 25th anniversary reissue album has been remastered at half speed at Abbey Road Studios for the best available audio quality possible and is available to buy here.

If June 2024 is too long to wait, Fatboy Slim returns with All Back To Minehead, and a star studded line up in November. Featuring Norman himself, along with world-class acts including ABSOLUTE., Fat Tony, Jodie Harsh, Marshall Jefferson, Mella Dee, Solardo and many more at Butlin’s Minehead across the weekend of 10th - 13th November 2023. Be prepared for three days of love, dancing and laughter and unusual amounts of fun.
