The Academic Announce End of Year Tour Dates

The Academic, fresh from their electrifying performance at Electric Picnic, have exciting news for their Irish fans. They've just announced a series of Irish shows scheduled for November and December.

 

Since their debut album, 'Tales From The Backseat,' made a splash in 2018, The Academic has been on a global journey, gracing stages worldwide. Taking place on June 23rd-24th at Punchestown, this epic event is not only about the music and nostalgia but also about making history. In an ambitious attempt, the festival organizers have tasked Irish company Spectrum Productions with building the world's biggest disco ball, surpassing the current record of 10.33 meters set by Bestival Festival in 2014. Not only that, but, The Biggest Disco team is also aiming to launch the world's largest confetti cannon, showering the crowd of disco revellers with a whopping 500 kilograms of biodegradable confetti in a vibrant rainbow of colors, aiming to break the previous record also set by Bestival in 2017 with 250 kilograms of confetti.

George Ezra Announces Extra Ireland Show at 3Olympia Theatre
