South County Dublin's food scene just got more exciting with the opening of 'Eleven', a new restaurant in Loughlinstown on the Bray Road. The restaurant's name was inspired by the N11, which is the main road that runs through the area. The restaurant occupies the large first floor above the well-known 'Whelehan's Wines' and has been transformed into a warm and welcoming space with defined dining areas. It's the perfect destination for neighbourhood dining from day to night.
Whether you call it Shrove Tuesday or Pancake Day, this day has always been a family favourite in Ireland and many countries around the world. Pancakes are a treat any day of the year, to be fair, but the excitement to get flipping is tangible in the lead up to Pancake Day. Shrove Tuesday always falls 47 days before Easter Sunday, so the date varies from year to year and falls between February 3 and March 9.
